Trademarks

The following are marks of Somast LLC:

• Somast the name, which stands for Somali Science and Technology.
• The Somast logo and wordmark in all colour variations.
• Project and product names used by Somast, including SomNLP.

Other names, logos, and product names mentioned on this site are the property of their owners.

You may use the Somast name without asking permission to refer to us accurately, for example when you:

• Cite our datasets, models, or papers, or say that you used them.
• Report on Somast in news, research, or teaching.
• Link to our website or repositories.
• State that you are a graduate of a Somast programme, using the name of the programme and the certificate you received.

Logo files for press and editorial use are in the press kit. Use them unchanged.

Please do not, without our written permission:

• Suggest that Somast sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with you, your product, or your event.
• Alter, recolour, animate, or partly use the logo, or combine it with another logo so they read as one mark.
• Use Somast or a confusingly similar name in a company name, product name, domain name, app name, or social media handle.
• Issue certificates, badges, or credentials that carry the Somast name or logo, or imitate ours.
• Use the name or logo in a way that is misleading or disparaging.

Datasets, models, and code released under open licenses may be copied, changed, and redistributed under the terms of those licenses. If you release a modified version, give it a name of your own, say that it is based on the original, and do not present it as an official Somast release.

Names such as Google, GitHub, Hugging Face, EVC Plus, Zaad, and eDahab appear on our site to describe sign-in methods, services, and payment options. They belong to their respective owners. Their use here does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those companies.
